Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Three Components: Grade Point Average (GPA), Completion Rate, and Maximum Time Frame
Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress each semester to be eligible to take college credit classes and for initial financial aid consideration after high school graduation - this includes ACC courses taken while in high school!
Not meeting the SAP requirements could mean you will NOT be eligible for the dual credit waiver and/or financial aid when you graduate from high school until you are in good standing with the SAP components below.
Grade Point Average (GPA) Requirement:
Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA ("C" or better) in all ACC classes attempted
Completion Rate Requirement:
Students must complete 67% of all college credit hours attempted at ACC
Maximum Time Frame:
Students must complete their degree within 150% of the posted degree plan
